Reporting Overview
0:06
Welcome to this Application Explainer video.
0:08
In this video we will cover a reporting overview in SLM.
0:12
The SLM system is full of ready to use reports specific to each module.
0:17
Within the SLM system, there are over 200 out-of-the-box reports separated out in the related modules.
0:28
Each module is equipped with its own specific set of reports that are available.
0:33
If we navigate to any of the modules, let’s say the Hazop module, you have the object tree, the search, and this little notebook icon is the report section.
0:42
You’re able to click and run these reports from this module.
0:47
If we want to look at a different module, say the operator maintain, we can simply come to the ONM module, go to the report section and you’ll be able to see the reports listed here.
0:58
To run a report, we just click on the report and go through the steps and hit generate.
1:04
Some of them will display on tables within the system that you can export to Excel or PDF.
1:10
Some will actually render a print out that is emailed to you and available to download as a PDF.
1:17
These reports are also available to be used in the dashboards of these modules and in the global dashboard.
1:23
So if I navigate to a module, you’ll see the first piece is the customized dashboard button.
1:29
It’s showing me the same reports that are available here, and I can build my dashboard from here.
1:36
And when I save that, that’s my dashboard whenever I login to the Loper module.
1:40
So SLM has a lot of reports available to the users.
1:43
They can be seen in each of the specific modules.
1:47
Additionally, if there are reports that are needed for you and your organization, the MSS team is always happy to help develop new features and reports that will fit with your requirements.
