Global – Standard Process Deviations

0:06 Welcome to this application explainer video parts of our SLM Global Module topic range.

0:11 In this video, we’ll cover the subject of standard process deviations within SLM.

0:16 Within the SLM Global module, users can define a list of parameters and deviations to automatically populate on new HAZOP worksheets.

0:24 To help efficiently facilitate, in the SLM Global module, users can define a list of standard process deviations that can be referenced in the SLM Hazop module.

0:37 For faster facilitation of the HAZOP studies, users can navigate to the Global module and then to the Enterprise object, then to the Process Standard Deviation tab.

0:50 Here, they can select Add Deviation where they’re able to specify a parameter, a guide word, and a deviation.

0:59 Once all of these deviations are added, the user can then hit sync across all sites to have this list of deviations be identical across all of the sites in the SLM system.

1:11 Or users can navigate to each individual site object and specify a list of standard process deviations for that site specifically.

1:19 Once the tables are complete, any HAZOP study that is created in the SLM hazop module at this site will come automatically populated with these deviations as a scenario for the user to fill in, making the facilitation process more efficient.
