Dashboard

SLM dashboard provides users with a customisable overview of key information within Safety Lifecycle Manager. Dashboards are available on the homepage and within individual modules, allowing users to display the reports that are most relevant to their role.

Users can personalise their dashboard by selecting reports, arranging layouts, and removing information that is no longer required. This flexibility helps teams focus on the data that matters most while improving day-to-day productivity.

This guide explains how the SLM dashboard works, how to customise homepage and module dashboards, and how to organise reports for an efficient workspace.

What Is an SLM Dashboard?

SLM dashboard is the main landing page displayed on the homepage and within each module of Safety Lifecycle Manager.

Dashboards provide users with a high-level overview of important reports and information relevant to their current module.

Typical dashboard content includes:

  • Module reports
  • Lists and worksheets
  • Recommendations
  • Status information
  • Operational summaries

Each dashboard can be customised so users only see the information most useful for their daily activities.

To learn how to move between dashboards in different modules, see our Module Selection guide.

Customising the SLM Dashboard

The SLM dashboard can be customised using the Customise Dashboard option.

When selected, users can browse the reports available across the relevant modules and add them to their dashboard.

To customise a dashboard:

  1. Open the required dashboard.
  2. Select Customise Dashboard.
  3. Browse the available reports.
  4. Drag reports onto the dashboard layout.
  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

This allows every user to build a dashboard that reflects their own responsibilities and priorities.

Adding Reports to Your Dashboard

Reports are added by dragging them from the available report list into the dashboard layout.

Users can combine reports from the available module when building their dashboard.

Examples include:

  • Hazard Recommendations
  • SIF Lists
  • Document Lists
  • Device Service Status
  • Module-specific worksheets

Once reports have been positioned, simply save the dashboard to display the updated layout.

To quickly locate reports before adding them, see our SLM Search guide.

Choosing Dashboard Layouts

The SLM dashboard supports one, two, or three-column layouts.

Users can select the layout that best suits the reports they want to display.

Layout options include:

  • Single-column layout
  • Two-column layout
  • Three-column layout

Choosing the correct layout helps improve readability and prevents dashboards from becoming cluttered.

Many users find that a two-column layout provides a good balance between visibility and efficient use of screen space.

Customising Module Dashboards

Each application module also includes its own dedicated dashboard.

Unlike the homepage dashboard, module dashboards only display reports that belong to that specific module.

Users can:

  • Add module reports
  • Remove reports
  • Change dashboard layouts
  • Rearrange report positions
  • Save personalised dashboard views

This allows each module to present information that is directly relevant to the activities performed within that area of Safety Lifecycle Manager.

Managing Dashboard Reports

Dashboards can be updated whenever requirements change.

Users can remove reports by selecting the X beside an existing report before saving the updated layout.

Regularly reviewing dashboard content helps ensure important information remains visible while reducing unnecessary clutter.

Making small adjustments over time allows dashboards to continue supporting changing projects and operational priorities.

Benefits of the SLM Dashboard

SLM dashboard provides users with a flexible and efficient way to monitor the information most important to their role.

  • Customisable homepage dashboards
